The 2017 Lamberson Medal was awarded to RMA members Guillermo Herrera (Professor and Chair, Department of Economics, Bowdoin College, USA), Holly Mueller (Assistant Professor, Department of Ecology, Evolution, and Marine Biology, University of California Santa Barbara, USA) and Michael Neubert (Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, USA) for their paper “High seas fish wars generate marine reserves’. This outstanding paper published in PNAS exemplifies the interest of spatially explicit and dynamic game models to deal with renewable resources management.
